THE FEATURED KEYNOTE / RESILIENCE & REINVENTION

Move
Your Feet.

You don’t need the whole plan.
You need the next move.

When life changes the plan, standing still can feel like the safest option. Drawing on her West Virginia roots and her own reinventions, Carrie brings lived experience, candor, and humor to a keynote about starting from where you are and taking the next step before you have every answer.

For people navigating change, a career crossroads, or a chapter they didn’t see coming. The invitation is simple: name what ends here, claim what comes with you, and decide what begins now.

When the Story Gets Away From You

Explore this keynote

For business owners, leaders, and communication teams facing scrutiny, criticism, or a situation that is moving faster than their response.

BRAND STRATEGY & CREATIVE THAT EARNS ATTENTION

Good Work Doesn’t Market Itself

Explore this keynote

For small businesses, professional service firms, and marketing teams whose work deserves more attention than it gets.

You can be excellent at what you do and still give people no compelling reason to choose you. Drawing on work across legal services, hospitality, healthcare, and small business, Carrie shows how to turn expertise into a message people can understand, remember, and act on.

What your audience will take away

  • Find what makes your business meaningfully different.
  • Turn a list of services into a reason someone should care.
  • Connect memorable creative to a clear business purpose.
  • Choose measures that reveal whether attention is becoming useful action.
03

CURIOUS ENOUGH TO ASK. EXPERIENCED ENOUGH TO ACT.

MEET CARRIE COPLEY, PhD

Big-picture thinker.
Roll-up-your-sleeves operator.

I’m a West Virginia native. Appalachia is part of how I see the world, and I bring that perspective into every room I enter. My career has taken me across legal services, healthcare, hospitality, gaming, education, travel, and small business. More than 20 years in, I’m still asking what matters, who needs to hear it, and what we’re going to do about it.

My work brings together brand strategy, media planning and buying, public relations, crisis communication, campaigns, customer engagement, and business operations. As a business owner, I also know how quickly a beautiful plan meets a very real Tuesday.

My doctoral work focused on crisis communication and image repair. I bring that research perspective to the practical questions organizations face: what matters, what’s missing, and what should happen next?
